The Lab
Apps I built to run a real store
Seven working systems, mostly built for Muhra on Supabase, n8n and Shopify. Every number below comes from the app’s own database. Customer details are hidden.
Supabase · Shopify · Web app
COD order pipeline
The problem: In Egypt many orders are cash on delivery, and a refused order costs shipping both ways. Tracking by hand which orders have paid a deposit, shipped and been collected doesn’t scale.
What I built
- Every Shopify order flows into one board automatically
- Stages for deposit, confirmation, delivery, collection and cancellation
- Deposit confirmations recorded with who confirmed and when
- Delivery attempts, edit requests and returns logged per order
- Staff sign-in with failed-login protection
Instagram API · Supabase · AI
Competitor intelligence
The problem: Checking competitors by hand is slow, and it only shows what they posted, not what actually performed.
What I built
- Follows competitors’ and creators’ accounts automatically
- Saves every post and re-checks its performance over time
- Takes regular snapshots of each account’s growth
- Writes an AI report on what’s working and what to try
Competitor posts tracked per month, 2026
Instagram · Supabase · Outreach
UGC creator pipeline
The problem: Finding content creators who fit a brand by scrolling is slow, with no way to compare them on real numbers.
What I built
- Searches for creators by niche and city
- Scores each one on engagement rate, median views and sponsored posts
- Tracks outreach and applications in one place
Each profile scored on engagement rate, median views, average likes and sponsored posts
Supabase · Web app · Push notifications
Team workspace
The problem: Tasks, creative briefs and design changes need one shared place, or work gets lost in chat threads and deadlines slip.
What I built
- Tasks with comments and owners
- Creative briefs with their own comment threads
- Edit requests for designs and content
- Team chat and notifications to phones
- A customer view cached from Shopify
AI · Shopify · Zero running cost
AI shopping assistant
The problem: Shoppers ask the same sizing questions again and again, and an unanswered question can mean a lost order.
What I built
- Answers product and sizing questions on the store
- Uses the store’s own product feed and size charts
- Runs at zero monthly cost
I’m 165 cm and usually wear a medium. Which size should I order?
Checks the product’s own size chart and the shopper’s measurements, then recommends a size with a short reason.
Example question. Answers come from the store’s product feed and 3 size charts.
n8n · WhatsApp · Shopify
Abandoned-checkout recovery
The problem: Shoppers leave at checkout, and following each one up by hand takes time nobody has.
What I built
- Picks up abandoned checkouts from Shopify
- Sends timed WhatsApp messages with the shopper’s own cart link
- Stops automatically once the order is placed
- 1Checkout abandoned
- 2WhatsApp message with cart link
- 3Timed reminder
- 4Order recovered or closed
Supabase · Google Drive · Healthcare
Pharmacy CRM for chronic patients
The problem: Patients on long-term medication need their refills on time, and a missed refill means missed treatment. Shown anonymised.
What I built
- Patient records with refill tracking
- Staff accounts
- Automatic sync with Google Drive
